It's that time of year to make changes if you wish to self-contribute to the PPI Retirement Fund of Kansas (KSR - 401k). You may, at any time, reduce your elective salary deferral contribution rate to zero. You may make any other change in your contribution rate twice each year, from January 1 to January 15, to be effective as of your employer’s first payroll period beginning in February and June 1 to June 15, to be effective as of your employer’s first payroll period beginning in July. No change will be effective until it is received in the Plan Administrator’s office, or at the Union office. Elections postmarked after January 15 or June 15 will not meet these deadlines.
